Post-work futures in the EU and beyond
On 29 September 2026, Elisabetta Costa presented the project during the interactive event in Brussels on 'Post-work futures in the EU and Beyond: Grounding Digital Transformation in Lived Experience." This event brought together participants from the EU policy bubble, practising social scientists and citizens. Drawing on anthropology-based research, EU policy insights and citizen experiences, they explored how communities navigate increasing job uncertainty. Attendees gained insights into building people-centred support models for a changing labour market in the context of digital transformation, and witness the value of applied anthropology in shaping European policies.
The event was organised by the Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA), the Lithuanian Science and Innovation Liaison and Competence Office (LINO), the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU) and Applied Anthropology Network (AAN).
